Pregnancy class guide
Prenatal yoga and Pilates in Kuala Lumpur: what to ask first
Pregnancy changes balance, comfort and exercise tolerance. Prenatal classes should adapt to the individual and the stage of pregnancy rather than treating every participant the same.

Guide
Speak with your healthcare professional
Ask your doctor or qualified healthcare professional whether exercise is appropriate for your pregnancy, especially if you have symptoms, complications or have been advised to limit activity. A studio class does not replace medical care.
Guide
Tell the instructor
Share your trimester, previous movement experience, discomfort and any medical guidance before class. Ask how positions are modified and whether a private session would be more suitable for your first visit.
Guide
Yoga, Pilates or private guidance
Prenatal yoga may focus on breathing, mobility and comfortable movement. Prenatal Pilates may use controlled strength work. A private session provides more individual attention when your needs or schedule do not fit a group class.
